Super Bowl Fun

What a close game last night.  Too bad the Patriots didn't win.  :(
Here are some quick snack ideas from our night.

3 kinds of Chicken Bites

Below are the 3 easy marinade recipes:

Sweet Sesame

1 1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
2 T worcestershire sauce
1 T dijon mustard
1 t minced garlic
1 t liquid smoke (optional)
sesame seeds (optional)

 Hot and Spicy

1/2 cup hot sauce
1/4 cup honey
2 t garlic minced
1T cumin

Teriyaki and Ginger

6 T soy sauce ( I used tamari)
4 T brown sugar
1 t ginger chopped
1 t garlic minced

It's not a party without chips and salsa.

My new favorite brand of tortilla chips -
FRONTERA

I am always looking for food that has 5 or less ingredients that I can pronounce.
Frontera chips only have 4 simple ingredients.

My family loves cheese and crackers.
This is one of  father-in-law's favorite snacks.

Which cracker passes my test??

Triscuit Ingredients :
WHOLE WHEAT, SOYBEAN AND/OR PALM OIL, SALT.

Wheat Thin Ingredients :
WHOLE GRAIN WHEAT FLOUR, UNBLEACHED ENRICHED FLOUR (WHEAT FLOUR, NIACIN, REDUCED IRON, THIAMINE MONONITRATE {VITAMIN B1}, RIBOFLAVIN {VITAMIN B2}, FOLIC ACID), SOYBEAN OIL, SUGAR, CORNSTARCH, MALT SYRUP (FROM BARLEY AND CORN), INVERT SUGAR, SALT, VEGETABLE COLOR (ANNATTO EXTRACT, TURMERIC OLEORESIN). BHT ADDED TO PACKAGING MATERIAL TO PRESERVE FRESHNESS.

Triscuits Win!

Always serve fruit!

My kids love hummus.
Try it as a snack with veggies and/or cut up pita bread.

Sweet Potatoes with Smoked Paprika.

Cut potatoes, sprinkle with paprika and cook until crispy.

Yum!
