Crunchy Homemade Granola

With daylight savings today I had some extra time this morning, so I made some homemade granola that was crunchy and sweet.  Yum!  I found the recipe on Family Fun.

First you mix all the ingredients together.   I used raisins and currants, but any dried fruit would work. I also added ground flax seed with the wheat germ.

Spread the mixture out on a cookie sheet.

Bake at 300 degrees for 40 minutes.
Take it out every ten minutes and mix it so it won't stick together.

Make a fruit and yogurt parfait and sprinkle it on top or just eat it as a cereal.
It is a great way to start your day.
