Almond - Cherry Quinoa Breakfast Cookie

I was so excited to see a recipe for a breakfast cookie in Bon Appetit magazine.  
What more could a mother ask for...a cookie with my favorite grain qunioa?  
They were gone by the end of the day! 




 There is vanilla and almond extract in this recipe.  I felt the cookies were a bit almondly tasting.  I would make them with just vanilla extract next time, since they already have sliced almonds in them.
