Beef Barley Soup

Wednesday is soup day in our house.  
If you have a meat lover in your family like me, this is the soup for you! 



Just 10 easy ingredients -
onion, garlic, celery, carrots, tomato sauce, 
beef stock, barley, chuck steak, water, and bay leaves


Cook onions and meat until brown.


Add carrots and celery.
Cook until tender.


Add garlic and cook for another minute.


Add the remaining ingredients- 
stock, barley, tomato sauce, water and bay leaves.


Bring to a boil and then reduce heat and simmer until barley is cooked. 
About 30 minutes. 
Add salt and pepper to taste.
